I'm Pishi.

To the technically inclined, you'll notice I'm trying out HTMX to make this site more enjoyable to view and work on. Quite exciting. For example, I no longer have to handwrite and load insane amounts of custom JS just to pull random drawings off the server, I can just have a little endpoint that returns one instead! Plus, your browser doesn't have to reload itself as it switches between pages.

In the background you'll notice a convincing display of what a Germs flood server would look like. I always dreamed of having a fake ballgame behind my website, and now we have it thanks to a light Ogar simulation. I know it's distracting, so I made it paused by default.

Even cooler, the simulation runs in a webworker to make it easier on the main thread, and I know what a webworker is 'cause I used one while I was working on the Germsfox browser extension. I decided to just use canvas rendering so I don't have to upload a pixi.min.js, so freeing the main thread is very important in this case.

I'm also looking forward to adding user-submitted stuff. Comments and stuff. I think that'll be fun.
